Abstract
Pandemi covid-19 melanda Indonesia semenjak awal 2020 menjadikan tuntutan adaptasi kebiasaan baru dalam era new normal.
The Covid-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia since early 2020, making demands for adaptation of new habits in the new normal era. The impact on the world of PAUD education is the demand for schools to return to the face-to-face model after a year of implementing an online model which is considered to have a negative impact on the development of children's intelligence. Responding to the plan to reopen the face-to-face model, PAUD schools require spatial preparation that is responsive to the covid-19 virus protocol. This study aims to identify the behavior of students, teachers and parents when they come, study and go home. With qualitative research methods through a behavioral architecture approach using the behavioral mapping method, behavioral mapping is obtained in PAUD Zahira Kid's Land Medan. The analysis and discussion was carried out by searching for a model of class design concept design, circulation, territoriality, privacy as an adaptive structure model and in accordance with the Covid-19 protocol. The findings show that the protocol for maintaining distance is an influential part of the arrangement of PAUD school spaces during the Covid-19 pandemic. Such results will be useful for the preparation of future PAUD school layout standards which should be of concern to architectural space planners.
