Kajian Pariwisata Musiman di Kecamatan Simanindo

Abstract

Pariwisata musiman merupakan suatu fenomena yang kerap terjadi pada suatu kota bahkan negara. Kecamatan Simanindo merupakan salah satu wilayah yang perekonomiannya bergantung pada pariwisata. Namun faktor musiman menyebabkan permasalahan terhadap kedatangan wisatawan yang berdampak dengan industri pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pariwisata musiman yang terjadi pada tahun 2018-2020, terutama selama masa musim puncak dan musim sepi wisata. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan metode campuran yaitu metode kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya berasal dari observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dan pengolahan data instansi terkait. Adapun komponen atau variabel dalam penelitian tersebut antara lain; komponen mengukur derajat musiman dan komponen memperkuat atau meningkatkan kedatangan wisatawan di luar musim. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa musim puncak di kecamatan Simanindo kerap terjadi akibat pengaruh hari libur perayaan keagamaan, sedangkan musim sepi wisata tahun 2018-2020 mengalami beragam faktor berupa faktor cuaca dan iklim, serta bencana dari manusia. Pemerintah perlu meningkatkan fasilitas pendukung dan menambah kegiatan alternatif selama musim sepi wisata dengan kerjasama dengan komunitas atau organisasi pariwisata. Peneliti menyimpulkan hasil penyebaran kuesioner wisatawan memberikan tanggap baik dan puas terhadap objek wisata, infrastruktur, akomodasi, transportasi dan pelayanan tenaga kerja.

Seasonal tourism is a phenomenon that often occurs in cities and even countries. Simanindo Subdistrict is one of the regions whose economy is dependent on tourism. However, seasonal factors cause problems with tourist arrivals which have an impact on the tourism industry. This study aims to identify seasonal tourism that occurs in 2018-2020, especially during peak and low tourist seasons. The research methodology uses mixed methods, namely qualitative methods and quantitative methods. Data collection techniques are derived from observation, questionnaires, and data processing from related agencies. The components or variables in the study, among others; the component measures the degree of seasonality and the component amplifies or increases tourist arrivals outside the season. The results of the study concluded that the peak season in Simanindo sub-district often occurs due to the influence of religious celebration holidays, while the low tourist season in 2018-2020 experiences various factors in the form of weather and climate factors, as well as disasters from humans. The government needs to improve supporting facilities and add alternative activities during the low tourist season in collaboration with tourism communities or organizations. The researcher concluded that the results of the tourist questionnaire distribution gave good response and satisfaction with tourism objects, infrastructure, accommodation, transportation and labor services.
