Abstract
Dinas Perdagangan dan Perindustrian Langkat Langkat merupakan salah satu instansi pemerintahan yang memberikan pelayanan terhadap masyarakat dalam urusan industri maupun perdagangan pasar. Proses penjaminan Mutu dan Kualitas produk maupun jasa menjadi prioritas utama dalam memberikan pelayanan yang optimal. Salah satu konsep yang digunakan dalam meningkatkan Kualitas dan Mutu suatu perusahaan yaitu Total Quality Management (TQM) yang berorientasi kepada berbagai proses dan sumber daya manusia atau Pegawai.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan serta pengaruh Total Quality Management terhadap Kemampuan Pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif model asosiatif. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 20, data yang diolah didapatkan dari data primer melalui pembagian kuesioner kepada 46 sampel.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Total Quality Management berpengaruh positif terhadap Kemampuan Pegawai, dari hasil tabel regresi didapatkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,847, hal tersebut berarti bahwa Kemampuan Pegawai dipengaruhi oleh Total Quality Management sebanyak 84%, selebihnya 16% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.
The Office of Trade and Industry of Langkat Regency is one of the government agencies that provides services to the community in industrial affairs and market trade. The process of quality assurance and product and service quality is a top priority in providing optimal service. One of the concepts used in improving the quality and quality of a company is Total Quality Management (TQM) which is oriented towards various processes and human resources or employees. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation and effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on employee performance. This study uses an associative quantitative model approach. The data analysis used is simple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 20 program, the processed data is obtained from primary data through the distribution of questionnaires to 46 samples. The results of this study indicate that Total Quality Management (TQM) has a positive effect on Employee Performance, from the results of the regression table. obtained the value of the determinant coefficient (R2) of 0.847, this means that employee performance is influenced by Total Quality Management (TQM) as much as 84%, the remaining 16% is influenced by other factors not examined.
