Abstract
Wilayah Pantai Pasar Sorkam, Kelurahan Binasi dengan luas 3,85 km2, jumlah penduduk 1.262 jiwa sebagian besar berprofesi sebagai nelayan, dengan total tangkapan 40234,7 ton tahun 2018, berdasarkan laporan POKMASWAS ditemukan permasalahan penangkapan illegal dan kerusakan lingkungan menyebabkan penurunan hasil tangkapan, maka dari itu tim pengabdian masyarakat melakukan penyuluhan dan kajian untuk mengetahui dampak kerusakan lingkungan terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat, metode pelaksanaan ialah metode survey dan pendampingan menggunakan data kualitatif struktural interview menggunakan kuisoner, Fokus Grup Diskusi (FGD) dan konsultasi publik, persiapan kegiatan dimulai dengan survey langsung lokasi tempat pengabdian masyarakat, untuk mempersiapkan alat dan bahan serta kesepakatan waktu antara mitra dan tim pengabdian masyarakat, (FGD) dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat dan mitra dengan materi Pengelolaan Perikanan (WPPRI) konsultasi publik dilakukan dengan menekankan diskusi struktural sehingga dapat menggambarkan kondisi mitra nelayan, karaktersitik data yang diperoleh dari 25 responden dan15 pertanyaan ialah tingkat pendidikan dan pendapatan masyarakat yang masih rendah, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dihadiri oleh 25 mitra nelayan dan berjalan kondusif serta mitra sangat antusias dengan kegiatan ini.
Pasar Sorkam Beach Area, Binasi Village with an area of 3.85 km2, a population of 1,262 people, most of whom work as fishermen, with a total catch of 40234.7 tons in 2018, based on the POKMASWAS report it was found that illegal fishing and environmental damage caused a decrease in catches, therefore the community service team conducted counseling and studies to determine the impact of conditions on the social and economic conditions of the community, methods of conducting surveys and mentoring using qualitative data structural interviews using questionnaires, Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and public consultations, preparation of activities starting with direct surveys to locations where community service is located, to preparing tools and materials as well as time agreements between mitra and community service teams, (FGD) carried out by all participant with Fisheries Management (WPPRI) materials. public consultation was carried out with construction discussions, it could describe real conditions, characteristics of data obtained from 25 respondents and 15 questions about the level of education and income of people who are still low, community service activities attended by 25 mitra and fishermen who are conducive and enthusiastic mitra with this activity.
