Abstract
Organic waste management through magot cultivation is proven to be environmentally friendly and has low emissions and the output products can be sold and increase income for the magot cultivating community. This service aims to empower the maggot-cultivating community, namely the Indonesian Larva House (RLI) through the manufacture of dried maggots. This activity is carried out in communities that are members of RLI located in Medan City, North Sumatra. The method used is technology transfer through lectures, training, mentoring, and demonstrations of making dried maggots. The community itself is the most appropriate method for making dried maggot and has started making packaging and choosing marketing by utilizing social media. Their accuracy, knowledge, and skills can be maximized in the community.
